we're moving along here towards the official release date for may 23rd 2007. the record goes out to college radio this week - thanks to everyone who has been playing it. we've also added a new press info section, with photos, one sheets, and all sorts of goodnesses.

all of our releases are now being carried by aquarius records here in san francisco - one of the finest record stores in the country. support them (and us!) by picking up our records at their store if you're in the city! they've also got some free buttons and stickers hanging out by the cash register as well, so get them while they're hot. we'll try to keep them stocked.

we're happy to report that solve was reviewed in the July issue of the wire. here's what ken hollings had to say:

Multi-instrumentalists Sarah Lipstate and Carlos Villarreal only like to give out a little at a time. Solve is a small composite of parts taken either from their self-released Consider Opposite [sic] or from a forthcoming album due out on the Tell All label. It pushes back a tiny set of barriers over a very constricted period of time, deploying kalimba, theremin, synthesizer, and stylophone, alongside more traditional string and keyboard instruments on eight tracks with a collective running time of barely 25 minutes. However, it's on the longer tracks, such as the constantly evolving "OIOI" and the mournful "Eintrocinc", that they really take the time to show what they can do. You may find it's worth waiting for.

the band has added more shows in july and august. solve also received a review from 30music.com.

we're getting closer and closer to our first release date, and everyone here at tellall is gearing up to promote our records.

we have some exciting news: both the tell-all records sampler and liam singer's "the empty heart of the chameleon" will be released on CD, not CDR, with letterpressed, hand-assembled packaging. we know that you'll love the look (and sound!) of the records. however, this decision to professionally manufacture our releases has forced us to delay our release date (originally scheduled for mid- to late- november) by approximately one month (hopefully less).

in order to encourage you to pre-order the records, and to offer something worthwhile to those who have already pre-ordered, we will make both the compilation and "the empty heart..." available in full-album form as MP3 downloads for those who purchase the records between now and december 13th. pre-order today and hear your soon-to-be favorite tunes as soon as your order is processed!
